Lately I have been experimenting with different ways of processing images. Last night I shot the Sarah Harmer show at the campus pub, which lead to one image on the front page of the campus paper and two more in the review. My photos will also be appearing on the student union website. How about that.
As an aside, I really want to beat the living crap out of the lighting technician at the pub. I have only shot two shows there but both times the lighting was absolutely horrendous. Not only was there nowhere near enough light (even for the regular folk), I felt that they thought white light was something to be completely avoided. You know, because bathing the performers in solid reds and blues for entire songs (which happened numerous times) makes them look better.
